Sorry in advance if this is not an appropriate questions to post here...

Had not 1 but 2 Ad agency reps contact me today via a referral from a material supplier, who both wanted quotes on the same CNC cut item, apparently from specs sent them by a major corporation.
I prepared a quote and delivered it via email, but I'm left wondering if anyone has any advice on dealing with these types of clients.
Keep in mind I'm currently a remodeler/cabinetmaker trying to break into this type of work.
I've had 25+ years experience selling to homeowners, but not to corporate types.

I'd love to cultivate a relationship with a few, just unsure how.....

Hey Darren!
That happens to me almost daily! I submit the same price to everyone who wants the same thing. We do a lot of work for a major photography house that has 20 photographers, and as many producers.
Sometimes 3 or 4 different producers will ask for a quote on the exact same job. I just forward the quote to the new guy in line, removing any traces that it was sent to anyone else.
Hope that helps a little?

Thanks for the tip, Jamie!!

Any advice is better than no advice, but I kinda already figured a cut/paste of a quote to all interested parties was the way to go...[smile]

I was really asking more about marketing to, and attracting this type of client.
