We're working on some creative and fun stuff at the moment. Lot's of cad modeling and 3d cnc routing!

One part of the job is this hull form for a ferry boat. This ferry will eventually get animatronic eyes, and a movable loading ramp.

Here's the final pull from the cnc styrofoam mold. I'm pretty happy with it.

The next part of the build is this vacuum form mold for the lead r/c characters. The pop outs on the hood are for the animatronic eyes to fit into.
We worked on the first season last year, so this year should be way less guessing as to what everyone is thinking!

Finally, something to show on the ferry and the trucks![animatronic-television-show-character]

Still lots more to go, they've done another color change on some of the trucks, so back to the start on a few characters. Crazy television!

A show came on this weekend as I was watching TV with my 4 year old. My wife goes, "hey, that's the show we have been waiting to see". I immediately recognized it and boasted that I "knew" the guy that made the trucks. I even saw your name on the credits, Jamie.
Very, very cool. My son loved it. The show has reached Southern California.
(I tried to upload a photo screen capture and I got "Failed, you do not have permission to do that")

Thanks Marek!!!
I'm glad the show has made it down your way! The series creator pushed the show for a number of years before a production company picked it up, so I'm really glad that it's getting a lot of distribution for him. He certainly deserves it!
As for the upload, I'm not sure. Unless the file was too big?

Thanks for the kind words!
